Finally, I am able to get down to some updating. Apologies that his blog has been unalive for the past quarter since the Awards Night 2011 but then again, as the saying goes "Better late then never". So here it is.
Time flies so quickly. We are now near the end of Quarter 1 which will officially end next week and you can all look forward to a week of holiday. However, have you evaluated your own progress thus far? How has your academic achievement? As I always say, end the quarter well. End the year with a BIG BANG! At least you can give a pat on your shoulder and say "Well done." As you evaluate, can you say that of yourself? Can you give a pat on your shoulder?
Yeah, we also have our signboard up...and it is after 10 good years. The pride and joy of seeing your own building and signage. Something we call our own. CLDR is an awesome family. Despite diverse background, we are able to learn to cope with each other's differences. Learn to appreciate each other and treasure one another. Adopt this motto in your life : DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WANT OTHERS TO DO UNTO YOU. When you do this, you will know how to treat people with care, love and kindness. That is what a family should be. Let CLDR be one closely knitted family.
We also want to welcome the many new faces to the Centre. We hope you have been enjoying the new way of studying as well as finding ncw friends. May I encourage you to do your very best and treasure the good times that you will be spending here.
We already have done quite a number of activities so far. Team Leaders and Asst. Team Leaders, keep up the good job of trying to synergize your team. I know it is not easy but this is where you learn to be a leader. Remember, leadership is all about influencing lives, nothing more, nothing less.
